Always dreamed of trying scuba diving? With PrAna Divers Discovery Dive you can do just that! Our experienced instructor will guide you through this amazing experience.
After taking you through some basic theory your instructor will assist you with a few exercises in the pool or shallow water to help you get comfortable and confident with your equipment.
Then it’s time to be guided through a magical coral garden, swim through colourful fish and if you’re lucky, meet a turtle or two. If, like many people, you emerge from the water thoroughly addicted, the Open Water Course is waiting for you!
In this course you learn the basic theory of scuba diving
The course takes 2 or 3 days to complete and includes 4 open water dives. The first 2 to 12 meters and than 2 to maximum of 18 meters.
Build your confidence and skills and redefine the WOW experience!
Designed to advance your diving so you can start right after earning your Open Water certification, this course expands your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives.

Scuba divers often describe the Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Another big adventure.
The Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. During rescue scenarios you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:
- Self rescue
- Recognising and managing stress in other divers
- Emergency management and equipment
- Rescuing panicked divers
- Rescuing unresponsive divers
This course focuses on building confidence in assisting with a medical emergency. You’ll learn how to follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a non-stressful learning environment. All courses are supported by self-study manuals, videos and quick reference cards to enhance learning.
The Dive Master rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training.
To start your Dive Master training you must have completed the Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and EFR and have logged 50 dives.
This is a popular specialty course. Diving with nitrox allows you to stay down longer during a dive with no decompression time, even with repetitive dives on the same day. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.
To do this course you must have an Open Water qualification.
We offer several specialty courses:
The lure of the deep! Sometimes it’s a wreck that attracts you below 18 metres/60 feet or for a wall dive it might be getting closer to a giant fan or sponge. Whatever it is, to scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 metres/130 feet, you should take the Deep Diver Specialty course.
If you’ve earned the Adventure Diver rating or higher, you can enrol in the PADI Deep Diver course. You will learn about:
- Specialised deep diving equipment
- Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control
- Managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety issues
Although you may have dived at a particular site many times before, at night you will see a whole new world under the glow of your dive light.
Scuba diving at night teaches you to focus on what you can see in your light’s beam, on controlling your buoyancy by feel, on staying with your buddy and on paying attention to details you may overlook during the day.
Whether purpose-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers, or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past.
There are many different types of wrecks, some of which are protected by laws that guard their historical and cultural significance. Your training will involve:
- Reviewing guidelines for researching and respecting wrecks
- Safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks
- Surveying and mapping a wreck
- Using penetration lines and reels to guide exploration
- Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants
PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY
Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You’ve seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings.
You can achieve this, too. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level.
We are happy to offer our guests speciality tours when they want a change from diving. These tours can be designed specifically for each group and include island hopping, dolphin watching, visiting the whale sharks in Oslob. We can also arrange special ‘expedition’ dives to Cabilao Island or other Bohol dive sites*
